Telling a story using TPR

TPR (Total Physical Response) makes telling a story much more interactive and helps students retain the language. Things can get a bit crazy, though, so I have learned to use a signal to let students know when they need to settle down. In the following video with a second grade class, you can see me explaining this before starting to read the story, and the actions that go along with it.
