Yo llevo unos dos años usando gestos en mis lecciones en primaria. Cada verbo esencial que aprenden los niños tiene un gesto. Mira este video para hacerte una idea: gestos esenciales. ¡Funciona!: cuando un alumno/a está intentando hablar y no le sale el verbo, le hago el gesto y le sale tan lindamente.

I have been using hand movements for a couple of years in my elementary classes. Each verb that we learn has a movement. Look at this video to give you an idea. It is NOT sign language, I made them up! I think it works: when a student is trying to say something and can't quite come up with it, I make the gesture and out it comes!
